Rock Creek Run Club

Pawsitive Partners PDX proudly sponsors the Beaverton, Oregon-based Rock Creek Run Club. Running with your pup is a rewarding experience, with the proper training, your dog can be a great running companion. You and your pup can join you at social activities at local cafes and taphouses. The club meets every Wednesday at 6 PM at the dog-friendly Craft Pour House, another proud sponsor, where well-behaved dogs are welcome indoors. Bring your four-legged partner and join the fun!

A series of educational talks for the running community presented by the Rock Creek Run Club in collaboration with Impact Physical Therapy of Hillsboro/Banks

April 27: Run, reflect, repeat. A conversation on common running injuries and how to prevent them. Bring your questions; audience participation is encouraged! Session occurred and was a great success!

June 13 6pm: Mental Strengthening Strategies— Dr. Tim Stecher, MS, DC, DACBR, CCSP, Faculty, dept of Clinical Sciences at University of Western States and 30 year runner. Register

Mental strength is just as important as leg strength or VO₂ max when it comes to reaching your running goals. Dr. Stecher explored this topic in depth during his graduate thesis in sports and performance psychology. In this presentation, he’ll introduce tools to enhance focus, confidence, and resilience. When practiced consistently, these skills can elevate both your performance and your enjoyment of running.
