I take the time to listen to my clients, understand their goals, and create customized training plans that fit seamlessly into their lives. Whether you're building a foundation with a new puppy or solving behavior challenges with your adult dog, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My passion for training dogs started in the early 1990s. When I embraced positive reinforcement and clicker training long before they became mainstream. Over the years, I’ve taught a wide range of classes, including puppy and adult beginner training, trick dog skills, treibball, and introductory competition obedience.

With a strong foundation in science—holding a BS in Wildlife Biology and an MS with a focus on teaching science—I’ve spent my career designing engaging learning experiences. From developing youth programs and professional development for educators to training teams in manufacturing settings, I’ve honed my ability to connect with people and tailor solutions to their needs.

In my dog training practice, I combine my deep understanding of learning theory with a commitment to R+ (positive reinforcement) and science-backed training methodologies.
