About Me
I began my dog training journey in high school, learning from a trainer at my local veterinary clinic. When I adopted my first greyhound, I was inspired to find kinder, more effective training methods—leading me to science-based, positive reinforcement techniques that continue to guide my work today.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I’ve earned titles in obedience, agility, tracking, nosework, trick dog, and conformation. I’ve taught group classes, coached at a local training center, and worked in a doggy daycare. I stay current by regularly attending seminars and webinars on dog behavior and training.
In addition to dog training, I bring two decades of experience creating educational programs and delivering professional training. This helps me design clear, customized training plans that meet the needs of both dogs and their people—whether you’re starting with a puppy or navigating behavior challenges.
